Keep in mind that that this process doesn’t always go smoothy – as in the story line – and may sometimes fail. If the attempt to turn it into a mew two fails, you will have spawned a Ditto Pokemon instead.
Keep in mind though that you only have three different attempts in order to clone Mew, after that, you will have to find a new mew to continue trying the cloning process.
