Are you ready for some great frugal living tips? With the cost of living rising more and more, I can’t stress enough how important it is to be in control of your finances.
It’s tough when bills have to be paid, but at the end of the month there’s no money left.
Today, we’re going to share some frugal living tips that will help anyone who’s open to try something else with their budgeting situation to live a more peaceful and financially stress free life.
Here we go:
1: Write Out All of Your Expenses
First you have to know where all of your current money is going to. Food, gas, payments, insurances, rent, mortgage, fun, etc.
You really want to make sure you don’t leave anything out. Ideally, you want to be as honest as you can with yourself as this is the only way to get to a different point financially.
2: Get Rid of Expenses that are Unnecesary.
Is it really necessary to have a $100/month phone bill? What about tv? Do you have Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime? Could you survive with only one of those? What about the food you’re eating? Are you eating out a lot or are you open to making home cooked meals?
3. Analyze your products.
Sometimes more expensive means better quality, but not always. When it comes to food, I don’t budge. I go Organic and to Whole Foods. My health has no price. That doesn’t mean other stores don’t provide the same products, but even at a cheaper rate.
4. Increase your income
Frugal living is all about reducing your expenses and the simplified life, however don’t rule out finding ways to increase your income. If you run your own business this is pretty easy, however if you’re on a salary based position, this is another situation. But even then, you can flip things on ebay, sell old stuff you don’t have any use for anymore and even go to garage sales and flip stuff there.
