Confirmation is a wonderful jazz standard that was written by none other than Charlie Parker in 1946. It is a bebop style tune and we’ve taken the liberty to share this public domain lead sheet called the Confirmation lead sheet.
Bebop is an amazingly fast music genre where soloists such as pianists, saxophonists, trumpetists and many others improvise over chord changes that are predetermined along with a melody that has been written which is part of the header, or theme.
Charlie Parker is particularly really great at writing bebop style tunes and has done so over the years.
