Many have said that at the pace Bitcoin has been growing, there’s bound to happen a correction. A correction can come in many shapes and forms, and if one comes it’ll be pretty bad, but not a total “crash and burn” bad.
The eternal question though is, will digital currency be the future of our monetary system.
It’s been said that the government has had talks about eliminating cash, and only going digital, but is this it?
As Bitcoin’s prices have been rising incredibly fast, one can only wonder what’s next?
A new currency that people can hop on?
But what can you actually buy with Bitcoin?
Bitcoin used to mainly be used in online transactions, through sites such as betting sites. But will it ever be applied main stream?
Will you ever be able to go to Starbucks and pay with Bitcoin?
That’s the question we should be asking ourselves.
And if we do, will we be okay with paying 0.00037 BTC for it.
The thought of having to pay that amount for coffee makes me feel uncomfortable.
It feels, wrong, unmarketable and just not natural.
Does that mean Bitcoin won’t work in a mainstream setting?
Not necessarily, but as of this moment, all we can do is wait and see how the coin evolves in our society, as the majority of our society still has absolutely no idea what Bitcoin is, or crypto-currency in general for that matter.
